Children's Ministry - Children are a reward from the Lord (Psalm 127:3b) Children receive as enriching a church experience as the adults. They learn through game, song, story and interaction what it means to love God and His church, and develop a lasting relationship with the Lord. You are welcome to teach if you have a gifting for working with children, a heart for the ministry, or simply want to devote some time to the helping in the church. Urban Cafe - From the humble beginnings of offering coffee during fellowship on Sundays, the Urban Cafe has blossomed into more - flavored coffees, exotic teas, hot cocoa, smoothies, nachos, ice cream floats and more refreshments and the funds raised at the Cafe go to various ministries in the Urban Vineyard. We offer first time visitors a free item-of-the-day just as a thank you for stopping by. Keep watching this site for the debut of the Urban Cafe web page.

Prophetic Deliverance - This is a team ministry that is offered by appointment. We depend on God the Holy Spirit to lead, guide, and direct every single session. It is Prophetic Deliverance. "If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36) "Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." Compassion Ministry - One of the oldest outreaches in the Urban Vineyard. Whether it be participating in the backpack giveaway, Christmas Toy Store or handing out food at our pantry, we seek to make God known to the people we encounter. Our current outreaches are:

• Food Pantry - Dedicated to providing the families of two local schools with food for the body as well as food for the soul. Volunteers find healing in the joy of giving to those in need. Remember the Parable of the Good Samaritan: Luke 10:30-37. Volunteers are always welcome, especially those who can speak Spanish. Meets every other Saturday at the church.
• Backpack Giveaway - Each fall as parents get ready to send their children off to school, we seek to bless them by providing backpacks filled with school supplies to those families in our neighborhood.
• Christmas Toy Store - Christmas can be a joyous time for children when they find presents under the tree on Christmas morning. But, what about those families who struggle to provide for their children. The Urban Vineyard provides a measure of dignity to our neighbors by offering the opportunity for the parents to purchase toys for their children at a discount of 10-15% of the normal price. In this manner, the parents can actually say with pride that they were able to buy a Christmas present for their child.
